Surprisingly though, The Walking Dead isn't the best zombie comic being published today (although it's definitely in the top 3). So of course you can find an array of zombie comics, ranging from the great to the mediocre. The Walking Dead is a smash hit in comics stores and on TV, and there's nothing like success to inspire imitation. It doesn't take a genius to guess why either. You can see more bloodsuckers than ever in comics like American Vampire or The Belfry, or see all sorts of other monsters in the pages of Hellboy or B.P.R.D., but there's one sub-genre that has led the rest: zombies. ![]()
